In the middle of July we hiked around Mother Mount in the Mount Rainier National Park. The trail length is about 15 km with elevation gain about 500 meters. It is nice alpine trail with perfect view if this view is not totally covered with heavy fog how it was in our case.
\nThe trail starts from Mowich Lake.
\n<\/p>\n

At the beginning trail goes through the forest passing numerous springs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Spray Fall<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The forest is full of huge corral mushrooms.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It is time of Bear grass blooming.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Plenty of Bear grass<\/p>\n

Lupines<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Indian paintbrush<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

and Avalanche lily<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Chipmunks, ground squirrels and marmots are running in the fog.
\nAt 2000 meter elevation snow still presents.<\/p>\n
