May around Seattle is a time of rhododendrons. They bloom everywhere in different shape and color. But for real lover I would recommend little garden on Whidbey Island. Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens – is small, but saturated with numerous rhodo species and hybrids.

At the end of April we visited the north-east of Washington state including the Okanogan Valley and its blooming gardens. Okanogan is mostly gardens and wineries, from Leavenworth to Canadian board. The weather was not perfect for photography, but still it was good.

Short return to winter. In February I drived to home from Big White via Okanagans. Okanagans (both, in Canada and in State) are garden places. Gardens-gardens-gardens. I really would like to visit these places again in spring blooming and in summer harvest.
