Sequim, the lavender capital of Washington state, is located in the middle of Olympic peninsula, on its north coast. It has not only lavender fields, but also 5-miles long Dungeness Spit. There is a lighthouse on the far end of the spit. This summer we hiked to the New Dungeness Lighthouse.
