After the total larch failure on Lake Robin, we decided to visit the place with guaranteed larches before all needles flew away. Our friend wanted to go with us to Ingalls Lake, and we decided that it is a good choice – there are plenty of larches there (we saw them!), the place is beautiful and can be done in a day hike. So, in the second half of October, we were on our way. We have already been on Inglas Lace a couple of times, also with a plan for golden larches, but one time we came too late, and another time too early (actually, that year everything shifted for a month, and larches kept their green under snow).
Right on the pass, it became clear that we were lucky with larches, we barely just on time, first win and np glod till next season.

Both previous times we didn’t reach the other end of the lake, so today is a good time for it.
Finally, fold laches of Ingall Lakw are with us.
