Our environment now is not human-friendly, all parks are closed, all trails are closed, all bike trails are closed, everything are prohibited. I feel like a hibernated marmot.
When the sun and some warm were turned on, we realized that didn’t use our kayak for a long time, and decided to check what is going on on the rivers now. The launches on our common Stillaguamish river are in the parks that are closed, and, anyway, it is boring to use constantly one river, so we decided to check the Snohomish River. It does not far from us, and we drive along with it regularly, but somehow never try it for kayaking. So, on Sunday we drow along the river, and found convenient launches. The river is open!
On Monday we opened the season and kayaked from Gold Bar to Monroe. 31 km of enjoyment. A very nice river, we definitely will be back.
