Great Egret aka Ardea alba is a rare visitor of the Northwest coast. So more pleasant was to meet it.
The bird strolled pensively along the ditch between the field and the road.
The egret ignored us completely, and was concentrated on the activity in the ditch.
The degree had a dinner. The ditch was full of fish, but they were very small. So, the bird needed a lot of them.
After every swallowing, the egret chattered with satisfaction.
