In February I started to explore my new environs. We came on the south end of Whitbey Island by ferry, which terminal is only 10 minutes from my home and leaved island by bridge on the north end.
South part of Useless Bay is nice, but private beach, so no real place for walk.
But on the other side of bay the Double Bluff beach is located and it is perfect place for nice walk. Very long narrow sand beach under the high pebble bluff with nice view on ocean and mountains.
We spent so long time on the Double Bluff beach that did not had time for anything also except little place on the north of island. The days are too short in winter.
