Hunting

Little Green heron aka Butorides virescens sat on the log right in the middle of Florida bogs and sharply looked in the water.

It is very important – look very sharply. And never pay attention to somebody walking nearby.

Heron forgot about me and moved its attention to water.

It definitely was something interesting behind it’ back.

One movement (it is difficult to believe how long actually a green heron’s neck), and something interesting is already in the bill.

And in the stomach.

Now it can return in a preferable position.

And look what going on above.

Again something interesting behind the back!

What is going on?

Aaa.. it is an alligator. Nothing curious. Let it pass…
