Our last hike was to Mount Arethusa. Because of many different reasons we were looking for something not too difficult, but nice and with larches, of course (the whole trip was for larches). So, we decided to try the trail to Arethusa Mount. It is short but started already at high elevation, so larches should be close.
It was definitely just a couple kilometres to the lake, and larches were right there.
The lake is beautiful, and, fortunately, the hiking possibilities have not restricted by the trail from the road to the lake. It is possible to ascent above the tree line and makes the rout along with the circus. So we did.
